Check out this new report released today by the Williams Institute at UCLA
on the “Costs and Benefits of Providing Transition-related Health Care
Coverage in Employee Health Benefits Plans.”
The report finds that costs are low, really low. Also, that while some
plans cover all the services that might be clinically indicated and
medically necessary for some individuals, lots of the plans fall short of
this.

If you are one that has an employer that is a pain in the ass and tells you that it “costs too much to change plans” This is the perfect solution to that answer. I suggest many share this with HR and then go from there. The time is now people lets end this mess once and for all.
