Some of you may already have heard about Gateway Trans* Health but for those of you that have not I will let you all in on a little bit of what I have been doing and plan on doing here in the near future.

Here is a summary of what GTH does:

“Gateway’s staff is composed of trained medical professionals; ranging from certified nursing assistants to in the near future registered nurses. The best part about having this quality care is not only the prices offered but the staff is trans-friendly because they have been there or allied before! From the patients first contact with GTH we make sure our patient has everything needed to make their journey as smooth as possible. By providing each patient with a ‘Pre-Op Checklist’, we enable the patient to go down a list which includes critical information such as having all required surgical letters to keep them on schedule prior to surgery. If a patient needs assistance in finding clinical facilities to assist in pre operative labs, letters, or physicals, GTH staff is here to help with this process as well. Post operative, the patient will have access to 24/7 medical care and service. Your aide will be responsible for helping you with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, grocery, and various other tasks as seen fit. Most of all, your aide will be there to just listen when you need and provide that companionship that’s needed to make a stable recovery. You never realize just how much having someone there really does make a difference in healing.”
